Terms and Conditions

Welcome to Mileano Tyres. These Terms and Conditions govern the sale of products and the rendering of services (including fitment, balancing, and alignment) by Mileano Tyres (“the Company”). By using our services or website, you agree to these terms.
1. Services and Quotes

All quotes provided are valid for a period of 7 days, subject to stock availability.

In accordance with the Consumer Protection Act (CPA), we will not perform any additional repairs or fitment beyond the original quote without your express verbal or written authorization.
2. Payment and Ownership

Full payment is required upon completion of work and before the vehicle is released, unless a prior credit agreement exists.

Ownership of all goods (tyres, batteries, etc.) remains with Mileano Tyres until the purchase price has been paid in full.

We reserve the right to exercise a lien (right to retain) over any vehicle until all outstanding costs for parts and labor are settled.
3. Warranties and Returns

Manufacturer Warranty: All new tyres are sold subject to the specific manufacturer’s warranty (e.g., Dunlop’s 8-year Product Life Warranty).

CPA Implied Warranty: In accordance with Section 56 of the CPA, all goods carry an implied warranty of quality for 6 months against material defects. This does not cover “fair wear and tear,” road hazard damage (unless covered by Dunlop Sure), or damage caused by driver abuse/misuse.

Workmanship: We provide a 3-month guarantee on all fitment and alignment workmanship.

Returns: Returns of non-defective, unfitted goods are subject to a handling fee and must be returned in their original condition within 10 business days.
4. Dunlop Sure & Insurance

As an Authorized Dunlop Dealer, we offer registration for Dunlop Sure Tyre Insurance.

It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure their tyres are registered within 7 days of purchase via the official Dunlop portal or app. Mileano Tyres is not liable for claims rejected due to non-registration or failure to perform the required 10,000 km rotations/alignments.
5. Limitation of Liability

While every care is taken, Mileano Tyres shall not be liable for any loss or damage to vehicles or personal property left in vehicles while on our premises, except in cases of gross negligence.

Customers acknowledge that testing and diagnosis may require our technicians to drive the vehicle on public roads. This is done at the owner’s risk.
6. Privacy Policy (POPI Act)

By providing your personal information, you consent to Mileano Tyres processing your data for the purposes of invoicing, warranty registration, and service reminders.

We will not share your data with third parties except for official brand warranty purposes (e.g., Sumitomo Rubber SA).
